Given the Guidelines for San Diego County https://www.sandiegocounty.gov/coronavirus.html and the recommendations from the American Psychological Association, https://www.apaservices.org/practice/news/covid19-psychology-services-protection, I am making changes to comply with these guidelines in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 during these unprecedented times.
- I am now offering virtual therapy services. When you schedule an appointment, I will be in touch with you regarding further instructions for our appointment. I have transitioned to using Theranest as my secure and HIPPA compliant virtual counseling platform. This platform is easy to access and does not require you to download apps or software. You can use your phone, tablet, or computer for the session. These sessions are currently covered by insurance. - In-person sessions are offered in some situations. In order to keep everyone safe, we will be keeping at least six feet of distance during in-person meetings while wearing masks. I will also provide handwashing/sanitizing before and after sessions.
- I am also accepting touch-free payment options such as Venmo or Zelle.
